Strawberry Basil Lemonade

Strawberry Basil Lemonade


This is a great recipe to make for a green smoothie beginner.  It is fruity, sweet and easy to drink.  


Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend on high until ingredients are creamy and smooth.  I use my beloved Vitamix for all my green smoothies
Spinach
- Basil
- Apple
- Strawberries (I prefer frozen)
- Lemon juice
Drink chilled.
*Adjust the fruit and greens ratio to your taste.  The smoothies should taste delicious to you, add as much fruit as you need to make the smoothies enjoyable.  Once you are drinking them for a while, you will be able to pack in more greens. Omit the basil for a sweeter taste.
